  • Durdan’s Park Spelling Bee

    Over the past few weeks there has been a buzz in the air – Durdan’s Park is running their first spelling bee. The children in KS2 have never enjoyed learning their spellings so much. The winners from each class, one boy and one girl went though to our grand final. All the children were extremely nervous, but did incredibly well.   • Guy Bass

    On Tuesday 27th February, we invited the author of the Stitch Head series and the Spynosaur series, Guy Bass to come and talk to the children about being an author. Guy was fantastic, the children and teachers alike were all enthralled by his humor and books. Once the talk had finished Guy stayed behind to sign copies of his books for the children and talk to them each individually, answering any of their questions. Continue reading →

    Squirrel the Rabbit

    Squirrel the Rabbit came to visit Reception on Friday the 9th February. Squirrel belongs to Miss McNab, who very kindly brought him to visit the children in Reception as they were reading the book Guess How Much I Love you.
